I dread the day he gets sold, on and off the pitch he is just absolute class, 20 years old, what a talent and young man.
One of the things that might tempt him to stay with us is the captaincy - he is a born leader and also great at the charity/media work which is so important off the pitch.

Get the feeling he is being groomed (in the best possible way!) to take over from Jags when he decides to hang up his boots.

I would want nothing more than for him to stay for 10 years, I just think he's going to be too good to hold onto.

There is not another defender in Europe I would have over Stones, he has everything, nothing he can't do well on or off the pitch, I can not speak highly enough of him, we all feel the same, when you see class you knows it.

What surprises me is not just his confidence, as many young players now have this in abundance, but his unquestionable level of composure.

Nothing or nobody seems to phase him on the pitch: he'll man mark the best forwards; stroll past players with the ball; acting like a captain!

He also appears a very mature, level-headed young lad when interviewed. It will be extremely difficult to keep hold of John in the long term.

Think he has his sights on being England captain long term, not that many clear leaders in the England squad and managers usually prefer to choose CBs if they can.

He's nailed on to be club captain and England captain, he's made for those roles.

If I were Chelski, he'd be the new John Terry to them and pay what it takes to get him.

Slight problem for them that both Zouma and Stones are both right footed, haven't see either of them play on the left yet - sometimes a CB can be much worse when they switch sides.

One of the things that has impressed me this season about Jags is that he has adapted well to playing on the left.
