Sam used this gameplan before with Palace and got a result.

It'll be 4-4-2 but the front two will be super wide; exploiting the space left by City's marauding full backs.

Expect us to sit deep with two banks of four, then fast counter-attacking down the channels for Tosun & DCL with Bolasie & Walcott making runs through the middle from wide positions in support.

Setting up like this allows Schneiderlin to play, as you don't need too much pace when just sitting in front of the back four. Not happy with him getting a game though personally.

Yeah, they'll deploy DCL as a wide target guy like Koeman did and hoof the ball up to him like crazy. It's a chicken SHIZ tactic, but it's one that could be successful. DCL as a wide target, which he should win every ball against their left or right backs, OR pull a CB out of position. Cenk will be completely alone up front, Bolaisse and Walcott are going to have to run their tails off all day while Coleman and Baines sit back, packed in.

That's brought a bizarre image to my mind lol
I'm always prepared for every outcome...

Had to switch from BT to TSN already to free myself of that absolute knob McManaman on commentary.

Let's take bets...

Rooney's first pass directly to a City player?
Jagielka's first hoof out of play?
Bolasie's first piece of 'skill' running the ball out of play?
