This should be
straightforward for Carlo - build the wall, add some runners in Midfield and rely on speedy counterattacks up front. Home or away against Citeh it will be the same.
Pickford
Holgate - Keane - Mina - Godfrey
Doucoure - Allan - Davies
James - King - Richarlisson

Bench: Olsen, Coleman, Digne, Sigurdsson, Onyango, Gomes, Bernard, Nkounkou
That’s the starting 11 with the exception of Gylfi for James

Strangely looking forwards to tomorrow and weekend....it will show unequivocally where we’re at in terms of our progress. If you can take the emotion out of it and just look at us a a functional unit it will be interesting.
I’m not writing us off in either game.

I bet from the off we start nobbing around with he ball in front of our own goal. But I'm feeling well positive we'll only be going in 2 down at half time.
The only way us fans can come out of this with anything like half a smile on our faces is if we re-mortage our homes and lash it all on Manchester City -1 goal tomorrow. Should double our money at least.

Quick look at the odds on Betfair:
Everton 8-1 to win
City 1-3 to win
Draw 4-1

I keep coming on here to read this thread and I understand the negativity. City are playing well right now but tomorrow we'll be without 4 important players. Aguero, De Bruyne, Fernandinho and Gundogan. On form we should win but you were one of our bogey clubs for years. I'm feeling cautiously optimistic at best.

I think the key to this game is a lack of pace and width in the team, no urgency and complete unwillingness to take the game to the opposition.

Can't wait to feel like crap at full time later, then feel like crap until Saturday whilst feeling like crap after the game then feeling like crap going into next week. Supporting Everton is great.

Well, from your options, I'm gonna put my life savings on Everton winning 8-1, as you suggest. I'm relying on you, remember.
