I need to keep stressing that it wasn't just the one terrible decision. The officials were against us the full 90 minutes today. Every decision went for City and the referee couldn't wait to give them decisions.
Unfortunately that's been a reoccurring theme lately the Newcastle game was a similar scenario just a series of poor calls at Everton's expense

Fantastic effort today, carry on like thisand we’ll be ok?

I hope so for the sake of the lad who sits next to me, at the start of the season he looked like a young George Clooney, after today and the thought of relegation he looks like this:

Spot on mate, they kicked us off the park that night.

Southampton got away with absolute murder as well, then that omni-shambles today.

Zero consistency from the officials and var.

Well actually that's rubbish - they are absolutley consistent in getting numerous decisions very wrong.

Southampton were physical and rightly, but the 40/60s that we were penalized for today Southampton got without question and all the Top teams have to do is throw themselves on the floor when they are in trouble and they get the foul. Ourselve and other do it and play continues and this subtle play creares quite a large uneven playing field.

hahahahahaha. Lad, you’ve watched Leeds & Brentford get pumped today and then watched us undeservedly lose against the best team in the League & you still think we’re going down? Hahahahahahahaa
You're an idiot... Next week we will play worse than Brentford and Leeds and lose again because that is what we have done the entire season. We play just well enough to lose against City with a questionable decision then next week play just S%#@ enough to lose against the next opponent...

Have been doing it the entire season bar one or two matches and you think we are too good to go down... That shortsighted attitude by fans and players especially will see us go down...

Jesus man wake the F up...

Mate, if we get relegated it will be because we have been [Poor language removed] for 90% of the season.
If we get relegated and should have scored 45 points, it wont be because we have been [Poor language removed] for 90% of the season. It will be because we were better than other teams, but the refs decided the league.

I get it if its just a few points, theres randomness in anything human. But consistently, every single season, we are one of the 3-4 teams must screwed by the refs and lose out on a lot of points each season. Its absolutely stunning, and saying it doesnt effect things is basically deciding to be both ignorant and naïve at best.

Done for entertainment and continuity of the product purposes!

Been found rotten at the top Fifa, can't see why it won't be rotten further down.
Yup, and its always the ones who rule with an iron fist and fine and punish anyone for speaking out. The NBA had a referee throwing basketball games for years, and the worst indictment was that it wasnt obvious to anyone because of a combination of how bad the referring was and how no one was allowed to say a word about it.

If we can get Godfrey back to break up this Holgate + Keane horror combo at CB and stick to playing 4-3-3 I think we'll start getting some returns

Who you talking to, you utter utter blert?

Im fully aware of the situation the Club is in, however, im not a massive doom monger whos crying on every page of this thread despite watching the team put in their best performance of the season in. Theres comfortably worse teams than us as well, as my post alluded too, Leeds & Brentford are getting pumped regularly. They’re in bigger trouble than Everton.
