I get what you are saying but Rashford's form is hideous at the moment, if it wasn't for the Sancho thing and other injuries I doubt he would be playing.

Yes but people have a weird knack against us don’t they. Anthony scored last year and Ronaldo, one hasn’t done anything since and the other is now in Saudi. Rashford has done nothing all season, oh and don’t get me started on Martial.

A good hard battling performance is the absolute minimum today, compete on every level, crown to be nasty and intimidating. If that happens, a draw would be acceptable, a win would send a huge 'koff message.

Indeed.

Up until yesterday afternoon circa 16.35 I was quite relaxed about the points deduction as we were only two points from safety (when our vastly superior GD is taken into account).

But Luton’s win has shaken me.

Looking at the league table and us being five points behind the 17th placed team is unsettling
