Strange if not even slightly worrying. Even if we're to introduce one or two new names in the centre this summer why not let them gain fitness?

Unless they're injured I'd say it would suggest that they wont be here much longer, or Koeman doesn't think they need any match fitness.

Barry has been a stalwart for the club over the last three years and apart from one off-season he's been a key player. Would be sad to see him go!

Hell they could be injured or maybe hes seen enough to know what they are all about, maybe the selection is about getting a look at other players, who knows, just thought it was strange personally, they "told" us that Jags and Stones would miss Barnsley and unless ive missed it, which is possible, not a word about Barry and McCarthy or for that matter Kone and Niasse.

will be good to see davies in a more natural position. think he may be wide right tbh. All of barkley, davies, cleverley, miralla, tarashaj and deulofeu could be playing about 4 different positions if we're being honest. quite a bit of fluidity there.
