Interesting line up, glad to see Joel in goal and Stones rightfully rested from the squad entirely. Would have put Baines back in a LB but it gives Oviedo another shot to prove he's worthy of a new deal. Just have to make sure to get the ball into Rom as much as possible tonight and get Ross running at their back line
I dont think Baines has done anything at all to feel he is a first choice starter since he returned. I'm still pissed off with him last week jumping out of the way of that shot at City which gave them the impetus to get back into the tie.

With the two recent weak links in defence not playing (Howard and Stones) our chances of a clean sheet are greatly increased. I put this down as 2-2 in the Selco Predictor - had I known Howard would not be playing I would have gone 2-0

How come it's on TV over there it is here in oz! 5:35am like lol I'm pretty bladdered for this one Lennon to have a big game I think

The match at Old Trafford in December 2014 was shown live all over the world except in UK and Ireland. I was working in Johannesburg and saw Oviedo doing his magic live.

Can we now start transfer window style rumours about Stones' location?

"My brothers mate saw him eating a steak bake in a Greggs in Manchester"
My secretary's bosom buddy has a second cousin (one removed) who knows a realtor in London. I'll ask her to ask her best friend if her relative can chat to the guy ... ask him to keep an eye out for Stonesy like.

Was unfair to drop Galloway completely. The lads played about 10mins since Baines returned to full fitness and that was against Carlisle at the weekend. Awful management IMO
