Think our fate ultimately hinges on this game now.

A win with the Goodison crowd bouncing would give people at least some hope heading into the last 5 games. Anything other than that and it's sayonara Premier League.

Said this a lot of the last few weeks but luckily results in this time have mostly gone in our favour.

Do not win this game and I think that's it for us, we 1000000% aren't winning the next 2 away games that follow it so must win this

Do or die and probably the latter. Would be proper Everton if Gordon scores and plays a part in sending us down.
My personal opinion is that mop head won't be risked. Too much for the shrinking violet to take and will end up getting a red ca4d early on.

Because it’s a match, a game between Everton and Newcastle for people to discuss the Everton v Newcastle game including, but no limited to:
Formations
Starting lineups
The opposition
Minute by minute incidents
Why bother when it';s not even competitive?

Remember - Everton are already relegated you said.

This is it everyone we have to win .late winner like last year wouldn't go a miss, evening game goodison rocking win this and I think we'll stumble over the line to safety COYB

Aside from Man. City this is our toughest remaining match.
Balance of probability based on current form and position strongly suggests a home defeat.
But the horsepuncher’s do have a tendency to have the occasional poor performance so I hope Thursday is one of those nights and we can take advantage.
I’d be reasonably happy with a draw to be honest.
A win would exceed current expectations.

I fancy us in this, for the simple reason that top4 shakes have hit Newcastle
If they don't beat spurs today we might see them unravel a bit
They might also underestimate us as they have the likes of arsenal coming up.
Dunno really, but am optimistic

If there ever was an added incentive to beat them, it is this now newly manufactured belief by the Toon that they are and have been, a bigger club than us.
They well and truly need putting back in their box and I'm hoping we can do it come Thursday.
I'm praying for Doucourie coming back all guns blazing and for DCL to cause some nuisance among their defence.
A tough ask but not impossible.

God...I hate Geordies. My grandfather hated them too, even before they put out his eye. Did you think I'd be out here on the front row without good reason? Yes, Everton needs a strong frontier. No, Everton doesn't need unwashed barbarians at her gates! So, that's why we're here: to bring Toffee order to stinking Geordies. Revenge? That'd be good too. This war against the Geordies won't last long, and when it's done, we've got plans. This is all about points, points in the League. Going down that road means dealing with all rivals: Leicester, Brighton, those Mancunian sister-fingerers, Wolves and Bournemouth too. We will clatter these horse punching shirtless bellends. We will stay up.
