Dyche needs a contract extension tbh as the mentality is light years ahead of what it was 12 months back. And December 2021 aswell.

At 0-0 I thought there was only one winner as the game went on with the lack of options on the bench and team kept plugging away and it was a great strike from Dwight. Doucoure doing a nice Cahill impression yet again.

Still a long way to go but have to feel positive about things (on the pitch) for first time in three seasons as back to front it's working properly now.

It was a a scrap from start to finish. Two teams not giving an inch, but we scrapped harder and full marks to Dyche. No Garner or Onana and we did not notice. Excellent game and win. Particularly happy Gordon got what he deserved.

They specifically asked him about the win lifting Everton out the bottom three. Then Dyche started laughing a bit, mentioned something about the points but then said "yeah another twist, and there's more to come" - I might be reading too much into it, but it was the way he said it, and was very relaxed about it all.
