Twitter-sphere (twitter) seems to suggest that Hibbo is not match fit and Coleman is out injured meaning that Jags will be playing RB with Jonny and Duffy/Distin (who was only declared fit this morning) CBs. Gibson will be back (not sure if he will start) but Mirallas won't be back until Arsenal at the earliest. Barkley will probably be on the bench.

I imagine the team might shape up like this

Howard
Jags Heitinga Distin/Duffy Baines
Hitzlsperger Ossie
Pienaar Naismith Oviedo/Gueye
Jelavic

or

Howard
Jags Heitinga Distin/Duffy Baines
Gibson Hitzlsperger
Naismith Ossie Pienaar
Jelavic

If Jags plays right back we will lose.

I hate all this starting line up nonsense. Just wait and see.

Don't think we should big it up that much. It's as important as any other PL game.

We'll lose to Arsenal probably, and we can't take just one point from the two games knowing our recent form. Heading into a packed month of December on a stinking run of form with our peak already behind us for the season. Must win, huge game.

My usual prediction - (mostly spot on so far ) all things being equal we should win this one 2-0 unless the post, the ref or some more bad luck gets in our way -
we are going to get our first penalty tomorrow and i expect a slightly favourable ref in the rest of the game - we are where they want us now - the teams around us will unfortunately also do well - we missed our chances to pull away - so on the log i don't expect much of a change this weekend - but a win is not negotiable - if we want to face the big boys with confidence in the next couple of weeks - Norwich is due for a loss and we are due for a win in the bigger scheme of things
i know i sound like a palm reader - but that is what the officials have reduced me to this season

Wigan away mate

I go along with those who think this is must-win.

Must-win in terms of a) the fact we should be beating them and b, not winning signals a real stop in our momentum; we're in big danger of turning a very good start to the season into an average one. Norwich will have gained a lot of confidence as well from the past few weeks so I'll happily take a 1-0 scrappy win. Come on Everton!

This. The fact that they haven't lost in 6 gives me more confidence than the QPR and Reading games where they were expected to lose again. Funny old game. Or funny old James. I'm not sure.

I'm going for an edgy 2-1 win, purely on the basis that when I confidently predicted that we would stuff Sland by 5 or 6, we stumbled over the line, a lot depends on whether Mirallas and/or Gibson feature.
