It's not ideal but in fairness, Rondon isn't actually as bad as people make out.

He'll do a better job up there than the other front three did in the opening two games.

1. He can score.
2. He allows others to score.

I reckon he'll be fine to get us through this game.
Once upon a time he was an average premier league centre forward……
Now he’s an average championship centre forward at best!!

However he’s the only option we have right now.?

I don't feel too confident about Everton at the minute, so going for a draw.

Anyone from winsford/northwich able to give son a lift to & from match on sat. He's struggling to get there due to rail strike. Will share petrol.

Pickford (C)
Holgate - Coady - Tarkowski
Patterson - Iwobi - Onana - Mykolenko
Gray - Rondon - McNeil

I can see Allan also used in a 3-5-2 especially with Onana only being with the team a week but at home we need to take the game to Forest.

Rondon as a focal point is key to help support the ball higher up the pitch and it gives the back 3 a long diagonal pass out if needed.

Hopefully McNeil is on set-pieces to allow our attacking advantage from our defenders and Onana.

Our bench will be very weak with not much I terms of options:
Allan, Davies, Keane, Coleman, Vinagre and possibly Gbamin and Gomes

3-4-3 at home and I suspect Dele and Gordon will have a slight knock and ruled out due to transfer speculation.

COYB!
