Would have liked to have made the journey down for this one but on holiday. Forest have been gone too long and nice to see them back in the top flight. Aside tomorrow, hope they have a good season.

They will come with a positive attitude, I hope we try and match it rather than play it safe and hope for a miracle. Rondon is rank but he needs to play and provide a focus for the attack. Personally I'd rather he take Gordon on later in the game and use his pace to hurt them rather than see him haulled off with half an hour to go when he is goosed. Mostly I'd like to see gray dropped. Feels like he needs a kick up the....

Anyway, hopefully see onana get more minutes and a win for the blue boys

He should be demanding players or walking.

I'm sure he is demanding players every day. Did he look happy in the presser? I am backing him he's in a difficult position and this club has issues that come from the owner and board, we need to give a manager some time.

Big game. Not season defining but they need to keep the fans onside otherwise the atmosphere could soon turn toxic and all the good work getting the fans onside in the final days of last season and the early games of this may be lost.

Sorry mate - not even close - The fans were onside pretty much from the moment Cooper came in. Unless you are a Forest fan, you won’t be aware of just how deep Cooper’s revolution goes. Comparisons with the great Cloughy are obvious and a bit cliched. A good comparison would be the impact Shankley had on your neighbours.

Forest fan here - looking forward to a good game and it’s great to be back at grounds like Goodison Park. Like the City Ground, a proper old football stadium steeped in history. Anyway - I Think our starting lineup will be similar to Wet Spam. Nobody played badly and Coops is a strong believer in “It’s your shirt to lose“. The difference is we now have much better options to come off the bench.
