Match Thread Everton v Notts Forest. Sun Dec 29th. 3pm

Harrison is more disciplined in shape (although Lindstrom has started scrapping and chasing more which is good). Can only hope it’s with that in mind he’s playing, and Ndiaye will be told to get as close to Broja as possible. Can imagine him playing cuter passes than Dom, and we need to get Ndiaye in and around the box.

Their breakaways down the sides are really working for them and have carved up teams better than us of late. Don’t like it, but can just about see why Jack at least starts. Just.

Based on points and form, id say they have a 2 to 1 chance of winning this game. There is something deeply frustrating about Forest doing this well, turns out their gamble paid off while ours certainly did not. Its just so typical.

….ha, ha, no excuses. Dyche has got two players to pick from and I prefer Lindstrom over Harrison but it’s hardly a clear cut decision given how both have performed. Deckchairs on the Titanic deciding which mediocracy to go with.

I’d go with Lindstrom. Without McNeil, he hits a decent free-kick which could make the difference here.
He hasn't though Eggs - we heed to get rid ASAP the age of that team Doucs & Young first names with Harrison on that team sheet - simply not good enough- Dyche could not pick his nose imo !

And I’d take Harrison’s work rate over Lindstrom. Let Harrison tire them out then Lindstrom come on. Neither will be here long term

What they are doing isn't sustainable statistically, their XG to conversion indicates they are either the best finishers in the league or have had a lot of luck in games.

They are very, very good defensively mind, which gives you a chance of 1-0, so that adds to it.
