exactly. how different was this squad from last season, talkin about the games where we struggled with injuries and what not. don't feel like breaking it down position by position, but obviously wessels is a step down, but last season i'd have never thought we'd play AJ in a game we weren't taking seriously. no cahill or yak sure, but we didn't have yak and cahill was injured most of last season and we still did fine. arteta missing was a blow, but its a bad situation when our whole team's play hinges on one player.

my point is these players were not our top players, but they should have been enough to beat oldham. if they weren't enough, they shouldn't be in our squad.

Haha, let them say what they want unlucky or what, a win is a win and a final is a final, let's see what they say, when we finish in the Top 4 again this season!

Beating Man City bring us above them, and RS is within reaching distance, even if they win there game in hand they are only 5 points ahead, and you could be sure they will drop more points, since they are no Man U or Arsenal!

Ok what I think if anyone cares:

Moyes got it spot on. we have a semi final next week- pretty big game. We are through to the next round of the UEFA cup- big games. We are 6th in the PREMIERSHIP- big games.

To play our best fit 11 against an Oldham Side that would no doubtedly kicked heffing great lumps out of players I too wopuld have dropped the Yak, Howard, Lescott, Cahill etc.

I love the FA cup but at the end of the day if we had come out if this game without the Yak, Howard or any others I deem as big players for Chelsea and the upcoming games I would be pissed.

Lets move on- and look forward to the cup semi.
