Talking of songs, i'll give you one. "It's good news week", from back in my younger days. So who out there can recall the group?

[Poor language removed] brilliant, never doubted the boys to be honest.

On a side note- 20 pages on a match day thread- THATS MORE LIKE IT!!!! And with no suits or Rodders either- well done lads!

Alright Rob_japan, about your comment on the ref being the best in the Premiership. I am watching the game now and he really isn't very good. Sure he isn't biased against us. But his first instinct after a foul is to book the player, so far he is at around 113 yellows for the season, which is pretty high. I am 80 minutes into the game and there has only been one really deserved card, the one given for the penalty. Thats it. Overall score for Mr.Webb - 3 out of 10.

Pompey lose

Bolton lose

Reading lose

[Poor language removed] lose

We win

... could this day have been any better? :D

Better than last week, when all the results went against us...

But the second half was great...

howard - nothing to do...but some good saves
yobo - Good goal, good defendeing...
Stubbs - Made some good takles when neede, solid...
Lescott - Some good runs, shame his crosses wernt as good...but defensivly great
Neville - First half terrible performance, however in the second he played well, made some good tackels, got the ball in some places, made some bloacks, like the other defenders, another point...he came and clapped the gwladys during play after naysmith scored!!! just to point his commitment out...

Carsley - Alright...missed an easy goal, but had some good passes etc...
Fernandes - similar to neville, he didnt have the best first half, however in the second he was tottally different, he made good passes, had some good skill, which the fans all love (360 run, and constantly beating a couple of people at the sideline), but the main thing was his contribution with arteta, together their passing was immense...
Osman - No, today im not going to complain about his strenght ro determination...he played well, won the headers, made some good passes...etc...
ARteta - MoM, best ive seen him i think, him and fernandes completely dominated the whole pitch in teh 2nd half, arteta showed determination, came deep to get the ball,a and succeeded most times, but as ive sadi, his passing with fernandes and mcfadden was great...

Vaughan - Got the penalty, headers were good, showed pace and determination...
Anichebe - Good strength, liked to turn the defenders and pass the ball, also an added note about anicheb, he is really unselfish with the ball! (when he couldve shot, but passed to arteta in teh box (who was pushed))

Naysmith - first touch goal, and its a great goal for a defender...
Beatte - flicked the ball to naysmith for the goal
Mcfadden - good passing with arteta and fernandes

Moyes - great today, the fans appreciated him, and thanks to his subs we won 3-0 and not 2-0 - the goal difference counts!!!

what a game, what a day. After yobo's goal, the place was rocking, sooooo happy rite now, total opposite to last week. Fernandes, and Arteta are pure klass, hope we can have em both next year, even Nayshit scored!!!!! Stubbs was wetting himself before the pen, cldsnt wotch lol. Check those passports!!!!!!!!!!!

You see McFaddens little turn on the edge of the box before attempting a curling shot to the far post!!! Little bit of Jimmy Mac magic that we normally only hear about in training sessions! Keep it up James.

Dylan.

I didn't say he was good, I said he was the best in the PL.

Take that as you will :p

Personally, I like Mark Clattenberg. He might not catch everything, but he seems a very fair ref.

Yeh but like the others he seems scared to make big decisions against the top 4 clubs.

I wonder if we finish 5th we get helpful refereeing...

:D

Just arrived back after an awesome couple of days over in Liverpool. What a game! Fantastic atmosphere, fantastic result, and we're in Europe. GET IN! Only problem is I've got a bit of a sore throat after all the cheering/singing

First half was awful, but who cares? The second half performance was probably the best I've seen us play live. Best atmosphere as well. Some of the skill from Arteta and Mani was unbelievable. Even Beattie and Naysmith made a positive contribution!

Great day.

Good performance in the 2nd half and i was really pleased with the players bar a couple

WE'RE ALL GOING ON A EUROPEAN TOUR.

Hopefully the Chelsea game will be a great atmosphere, hopefully party time, no matter what the result, it'll be a good day.

:D :D :D

:D :D :D :D

Just got to watch the game on tape - so the1st half stunk, but after half time -(y) (y) (y) (y)

3 more points to come next week, lads.

What a win eh boys?
glad to see you back again Monty as well. Latch & Rob J in good voice too in their respective foreign lands. All looking rosy! Nace's diving cameo sealed a fine win I have to say, 3-0 looks alot better (and looks alot fairer) than 2-0. Always good for the goal difference, a good 3-0 bollocking (Watford, Liverpool mwahaha) and you know how I love a clean sheet!

Arteta, Fernandes & McFadden are the kind of players I love to watch. Showed plenty of great touches, skill, vision and charm in the second half. After we went 2-0 up Manny & Mikel started to take the piss and Faddy showed some wonderful skill. I remember one moment he controlled one of Neville's ridiculous hoofs brilliantly, kept it in play, ripped a defender and played a reverse pass to Arteta. The lovely spainaird megged Djimi Traore, turned him and then played it back to McFadden, who touched it with his heel and played another superb turn around one of their defenders, but then screwed it pointlessly wide - would've been goal of the season I'm telling you.
Superb!

Arteta was magic, Liverpool were tragic (:P), Bolton lost, the geordies lost (and booed their team off the pitch), Reading lost.
great day!
