Joyce has said it so I won't doubt it but unless Dowell is seen as an adequate wing option from Silva I don't think only 4 for two positions is enough.

We'll be hard pushed to have more than 4 without European football.

Tough one on who to keep off the two. I think I'd go for Sandro just based on work rate if nothing else.

I think 5 is the optimal number without Europe. Obviously some of that 5 (like Dowell possibly) could be players that aren't naturally looked at as a wide player but can do reasonably well enough.
