Based on what we’ve seen this season, the fact that:

• It’s at Goodison
• Saints are on a horrible run
• We’re coming off a big win
• Saints haven’t won’t at Goodison in 20+ years
• Saints are depleted by injuries

Makes me worried. It’s these kinds of circumstances that have consistently given us our worst performances this year. Please, Everton, get your head out of your arse and squash these like you should.

I thought we'd turned a corner mentality wise after the Man United and Spurs results then the home game with Fulham came along which leaves with with trepidation towards this fixture.

So, I'm hoping that putting the Anfield hoodoo to bed (I believe we won 2-0 to those who may have forgotten ) has given us confidence to go for the jugular tonight.

It'll probably be a tough game but hopefully our quality can shine through and we can win... I'd love it if we proper pumped them though!

I think that we are about to become a top side in the seasons ahead, a convincing win tonight could be the start of the good times getting here quicker than expected.

Like others have said, all I ask tonight is that we show the same intensity as we did last week. It’s so frustrating that we can do it one week and then never the next. An intense and aggressive Everton side this year is easily worth a European spot.
