I have been following Everton for more years than I care to remember but I really can't think of a time when I was this despondent, I do remember flirting with relegation, those were dark days but somehow I believed we could win games. There was always a belief that Everton could and would win enough games.
It might be a time thing and looking back I think I didn't feel as bad as I actually did about the team but I do feel I have never been so doubting in regard to Everton.
I think Southampton will beat us comfortably today, Liverpool will tank us on Wednesday and Man Utd will put us out of the cup.
The performances we have put in over the last month's have just deflated me. I just don't see any positives at this moment.
I can't see a way out unless Martinez is sacked.
Behave we have been in much worse states than this.

I'm as miserable as the next Evertonian at the moment but we've been in far worse states than this.

Lowest ebb for me was the Coventry game. Lose that and we'd have been gone.

We are in a far better place financially, off the pitch and with a really talented squad and youth team.

Roberto has a great opportunity to take as forward. Up to him to regain the trust of the players and fans and win some bloomin games.

If he doesn't then he'll go and someone else will come in.

I doubt even Chico will put up a jarg team for this one...

As he maybe right in his selections !

Just watched the players arriving via video on the Everton facebook page.

Lennon (may have) injured himself picking his toiletry bag up and Niasse knackered himself walking to the changing room.

For sure.

Outside of personal family tragedies such as the recent death of my father, the weeks leading up to Wimbledon Day and particularly the last seven days of it were the worst days of my life.

I couldn't get the dark thoughts out of my mind.

Couldn't eat, couldn't sleep......had to take the Friday off work as my concentration levels gone by the Thursday and I was useless.

Bad and all as things look now......they are as nowt compared to the dark days of late April/early May of 1994 :(

Agreed that a couple of months ago we were very unpredicable, unfortunately we have gone past that stage and are now complete and utter turd

What happened was performances caught up with results.

Through the Autumn and early winter we were playing some fabulous football but not getting the results the performances deserved.

A bunch of us stuck by Bobby, believing the results would soon match the performances.

But starting with Baggies at home the opposite happened.

Now both results and performances are shocking.
