Hopefully, with a bit of extra mobility in centre mid we'll be able to push up a little farther, and not sit too deep and invite the saints midfield on. Which in turn will help more players to get a bit closer to lukaku.

Hope they play without fear, and one of the kids to get their first senior goal.

He's quite ruthless with his selections. Don't think we'll be seeing too much of Cleverly in the future and Jagielka is no longer 1st choice. With our lack of quality on the wings I'd like to see us try a 352 formation with Holgate at the back
Jags did say that the other day in an interview that he was no longer 1st choice

He's sort of took it more so than others who are above him in the rankings, namely Mirallas, Lennon, Cleverley, Valencia, DCL.

He was our best player in his last performance v Watford, very good in pre season, excellent in what was our best performance of the season IMO vs Spurs.

Koeman just doesn't like him, I have no issue with that but it's do the detriment of the team in recent weeks.
Agree on most of that apart from DCL, the kid needs to be given a chance, he's only 19.

Love it when the kids get to play, get to play with excuberance, lack of fear, and on instinct. Sure mistakes happen, but that's the learning process. Remember, Vic and Vaughan coming through, Rodders and Gosling getting their first starts, Coleman on his first season, Barkley the same and stones. Adds an extra dynamic to see the young'uns and lifts the crowd.
