We were crap again. Looked a lot more comfortable in the 532 in the second half. Fair play to Ancelotti for that, but it was so obvious they were gonna run our starting lineup ragged with our 442.

Gordon done well again (that dodgy through ball to Digne when he was clean through a blotch mind), as did Digne (that pass alone is one of the most quality plays we’ve produced all season), but Richarlison our man of the match.

I read somewhere that Ancelotti said we don't need to bring any players in in the close season? He must be comfortable with a lower mid-table league position.

So we've reached a point where our best midfielder is Sigurdsson and I'm not really sure what the argument against it is because the other options can't position themselves correctly. Gordon was very good and we had a good 20 or so minutes where he helped us control the game. But he tired and rightly went off. Bernard didn't have the impact and although I want to see Kean get game time he's going to have to hold the ball in this team or it can't work.

Lee Mason is an atrocity. Always getting small decision after small decision wrong which means predictably when the big ones come they're often wrong as well. The Bendarek tackle he takes the course of action that can't possibly be right. Either it isn't a foul or it's a foul and a red card. Foul and yellow is wrong 100% of the time. The penalty was calamitous as well.

Look in fairness he keeps playing totally underperforming players. How davis/siggy / iwobi keep getting games is beyond me. The lads on bench must be completely useless

Who do you play though? Barely any choices bar what is on the pitch Kean was anonymous when he came on. Sidibie did alright as a wing back.

....good on Ancelotti for helping us stay in the game. A number of players off the pace and apart from the obvious, i include Bernard and DCL.

Richarlison is our best player but we all know that. Digne MoM for me, great pass for the goal but his defensive work has really improved.
