I'm maybe being naively optimistic, but I'm actually looking forward to this. I'm hoping it's a return to the 2004/05 era of eleven average footballers giving their all every week.

If I'm being realistic, it's to say that this is the worst squad I can remember since the early 2000s and that we'll be lucky to finish 14th.

I find the Holgate bashing fascinating. I personally feel he is underrated and Godfrey is overrated. Both capable of a good game, both capable of a bad game.

Holgate thinks he's far better than he is and results in far too many mistakes.

I dunno mate. I don’t think he’s that far off Godfrey. Think we judge him that little bit more harsh due to his terrible performances at RB - which was out of position.

Not 100% convinced by him but I’m more concerned about Keane’s lack of mobility tbh.

No I don’t think it’s that, I think it’s due to him being a centre back that can’t/won’t head a ball.
