The club can’t be sold over night and the players can’t be sacked, the only thing that can really be changed is the manager, so that need to happen right now.

We would have just bought players of the calibre of Maupay and McNeil with the money. Or probably no one.

No other way to say it then, this sucks. I don’t think there is a manager to fix this. No incoming transfers, a new manager would just restart the cycle. I believe Lampard is the guy but needs help. A couple players need to go and a couple need to come in. I don’t believe it has to be major.
I do however believe ownership and board needs to be different. Commercial success is great but when the performance is gone and the prestige of league name, that will go too and then what’s left?

I'm as unhappy as anybody but singing 'You're not fit to wear the shirt' loudly and in unison is not helpful at this point in the season and actually quite harsh.

They're not where they are through lack of trying but unfortunately most of them simply aren't good enough and neither is the manager.

Nothing to gain by further destroying their confidence.

They're all we have right now.

Too many players put in well below par performances.
Saints were there for the taking, their keeper was crap. And we didn't really put him under pressure.

Talk of this game was do or die was ridiculous, but it does show us Lampard hasn’t got a clue what to do to get points, so imo he has to go now we just can’t carry on like this.
