What I'm not convinced on is Koeman, you can't see what he's trying to do. it's not like we're trying something new, we appear just to be playing percentage football and not being able to defend.

As crap as Martinez' plan was, at least you could see what he was trying to implement, despite his naivety to make changes.

I don't think its a tactical thing at all, both of them had the opportunity to make statements as the result of young players playing well (Galloway last season, Holgate this) and both of them binned them off in favour of older players who didn't warrant an automatic selection then and by and large haven't since.

More than half that team knows it is undroppable, when really only two or three of them actually are. I am not sure why anyone would expect a reversal of fortune when that is the case.

Unfortunately for us Southampton aren't the tripe that Swansea have been, so if we play like last week then they'll likely to take advantage.

We're standing off them and if that had been Austin (not the young lad Sims) then I'm sure we'd be two down already.
