I just wish someone other than Bolasie would actually attempt a cross, Coleman and Baines are too scared to cross. Stop cutting back and going inside and just whip it in the box.
 
Thing is we have had many a grim first half and came out flying right away in the second, if we dont score early I hope we dont take it for granted Southampton will tire after playing midweak
 

2nd best against a team who played midweek i wish the manager would play someone anyone upfront with Rom this is like watching a Moyes team

Who do our players look to for inspiration?

I don't even mean a player shouting encouragement, no one even quietly leads by example.

I don't know if that's the rest of the team trying to be respectful of Jagielka's quiet captaincy, or whether none of them are capable of stepping up.

We badly need a leader. Jagielka has to turn in the armband.
 

...Barkley again not having the ability to get his header on target. Similar to the sitter he missed at Bournemouth, he has the upper body strength to allow him to pick his spot but he has a head like a threepenny bit and puts them wide of the post. Not good.
