I don’t know why people still say this when zonal marking has been PROVEN to be just as effective and in fact better at preventing goals from set pieces. Sometimes there’s just nothing you can do.

Problem is we look like conceding from 'zonal marking' at every set piece, we we're abysmal in pre - season as well.

I think it’s one of those things that works when you have good defenders. We don’t, so they should just be given a man and stick to him.
