Jesus, I've had enough of watching this dire, turgid football. We'll never be anything again.

I actually have.

I understand that the team will take time to gel but any superstar gets picked off by a Manchester club when we appear to be making progress.

Not sure what the answer is tbh.
I loved seeing Liverpool get smashed earlier. Sadly I find watching Everton a chore.

Playing two Dms at home while still giving the opposition acres of space

this is whats baffling me. we are playing two defensive midfielders, yet we are conceding so easy goals and giving the opposition so easy opportunities. May as well go for a lot more attacking formation and at least try to get some goals since we are conceding anyway.

Very concerning, even accounting for the time that will be needed for new players to gel together, I still expect more than this.

Hard to comprehend a season ahead where we look so far at least not to have gained a single inch relative to the sides above us, and actually look to have gone significantly backwards

My biggest gripe is the lack of fight and where is this much vaunted high press?

Koeman and Walsh have a lot of explaining to do if this is the result of months of planning.

koeman didnt get the target man he wanted, but he plays like he had one just to show the board that we needed a target man, and they didnt deliver. so he is thinking, lets cross it to sandro and the board can see how well that goes!

Absolutely dreadful. Too many new signings in the team and it's going to take far too long for them to bed in. Sandro, Schneiderlin and Klaassen were completely anonymous and have been since the season started.

Martina is just shocking. On the ball he's alright but defensively he's a complete liability. It's embarrassing to watch him try and defend.

We don't have three goals in this lineup. Change the formation and risk getting spanked because we will lose anyway otherwise. Spent too much money to still not be settled on a formation that we can play well in

Utterly terrible first half, look a very very slow team with no clue going forward.

Hope some changes are made at the half to get the crowd into it.

We have played some decent football in spells but the lack of a CF is haunting us. We just cannot penetrate them. Martina is great at crosses but defending he is a liability. Klaassen is not a good player when we are on the back foot but looks better when we are in the accendancy. Spurs just seem to have spare players all over the place and Schnides and Guaye not protecting the defence very well. Pickford unfortunately has to hold his hands up to some fault in both goals.

think the only positive is that all the other teams around us are garbage aswell. the top 6 teams are on a different planet
