Already look a more composed side with Alcarez at the back, comfortable on the ball. Barkley has been awful so far, and it has nothing to do with him being played out left.
 
I've just realised, is our fate tethered to the RS?

We have a great season last season, but they go one better.

They're having a stinker this season, but we go one worse.

We had our best PL season when we got into the CL, but they won the CL.

It's never been to do with him playing on the left.

People are just using it as an excuse to protect 'the gift of the footballing gods' that is Ross Barkley. King of running sideways and passing backwards or taking to long to release the ball

Edit; with saying this he's a massive talent, but we shouldn't be afraid to say he has a stinker. Because he will have a lot of them before he becomes a consistently good player.
