That Liveonlinefooty.com is pretty good actually, cheers for the link turner.

Decent first half. Stoke, as expected, have been hard to break down so far. Having said that, we've been moving the ball around alright and creating enough, so we should be thinking about stepping up a gear in the second period and putting them to the sword.

hmm... we are playing better but not finishing half chance and not created enough chance, we need to up our game a bit more, may be bringing another striker on!

Fellaini is not himself today, only have some good header but been wasting the ball when he has them, need to make better used of it.

Also, Heitinga's barge into Fuller near the end of the half there was hilarious. Instead of just sheparding him away from Tim Howard, he just flat-out shoulder barged him out of the way lol.

How is he doing so far?

Half time.

If Im being honest....we're comfortable and they're comfortable just sitting back and soaking. They've basically got 10 men behind the ball and packing the box so its very hard to get through.

Are passing is good, so its the movement. But Saha is coming a little too deep sometimes, Rodwell and Cahill are working the midfield well.

Bily has pumped in about 15 corners and 20 crosses, all have either been dealt with by Stoke or have been too deep. Cahill had a diving header straight at the keeper, Ossie made him pull off a good save from distance.

Heitinga and Distin havent had much to do. But when they have done, its basically been a strong man test between them and Beattie and Fuller. Heitinga has been comfy and looks to me like a proper wind up merchant, goes in hard and walks away. Good bit when he just shoulder barged Fuller onto his arse before he made a run, John Terry-style. Like I say, bit of a sly dog....but its something we need.

Overall. I think if the Yak comes on we can turn the possession into goals which is the only thing missing so far.

I have to say stoke have posed little threat. in the last quarter of an hour it was all us. i wonder if we should see what happens after the break then add in the yak for osman (that's if the yak isn't rinsed out after thursday)
