Haven't had a flutter in ages now but I'm sorely tempted to throw a few quid on a 4 or 5 zip with Jelavic first scorer.

Boss as per, Azul.

I jest ffs x.

Most would expect three more on the board after this, Moyes's 400th Premier League game as a manager, especially given the opposition. His Everton record v Sunderland? Played 17, won 12, drawn 5, lost 0.

Everton are unbeaten against Sunderland in their last 15 Premier League encounters since a 1-0 defeat at the Stadium of Light in December 2001.
The Toffees have won the last five Premier League home games against Sunderland.
The Black Cats have failed to score on their last three league visits to Goodison Park.

The Toffees have drawn their last four Premier League games - three by a 2-2 scoreline. If they draw against Sunderland it will equal the club's top-flight record of five draws - set three times before, most recently in 1977.
David Moyes's side have lost just one of their last 19 league matches.
Everton are unbeaten in their last eight Premier League home games.
The Merseysiders have kept just one clean sheet in their last nine Premier League games.

To quote the late Clive Dunne "they don't like it up em" which is unfortunately what Sland will get, at least six times. Someone is due a stuffing from Everton, I can feel it's coming tomorrow, I had the same feeling a few years ago when we rolled in seven against them. Put your mortgage on it boys.

I remember a few years ago before playing the Albion that everyone said similar things, "someone is going to get a stuffing", well they did, it was us 4-1 at home! Dangerous thinking, though understandable based on our form and Sland being crap.

Everything points to us winning, but the next 3 games will show our bottle, should win all 3 which brings pressure, something we've not coped well with previously.

Nervy 2-1 win for me, maybe with a late winner

You're back then.

Sunderland is Canada and Newcastle is America. You can have that.
Hmmm. Here are my guesses:

a) Newcastle/US is bigger (in terms of population/fanbase) and more obnoxious; Sunderland/Canada nicer, less obnoxious but kind of anonymous?

OR

b) Everyone in Newcastle is fat; everyone in Sunderland is a moose.

My head says 2-0 home win with Cahill signing back on loan for yous just for this game to score the double.

For some reason I've got the strangest feeling we might come away with 1-0 win though. With our horrific record against Everton since forever and our equally horrific recent form, all signs point to a home win but football is a funny old game (#badcliché) and although it'd be unlike Sunderland, there's something in the back of my mind telling me not to write us off, our defence has been decent this season and we've still got Sessegnon, McClean and Johnson yet to hit form so I haven't lost all hope yet.

All of that being said though we're still shite and you're still good. Realistically a 2-0 home win seems the most likely result, I just hope we don't embarrass ourselves.

Exactly my fear pal... Can really see this happening in some horrific potential reality. Have to add I have huge respect for Sunderland, great ground and great support. Really willing you to have a good season... Starting Sunday of course :p
