I thought we were excellent until Mirallas came off. Dominated them high up the pitch and didn't give them a sniff if they went long. Attacking wise though, playing like that is essentially the Kevin Mirallas show and we're relying on him to get in behind or do something clever to get a shot away, so it was a big change when he got injured.

It shows how much of a difference it makes having competent footballers on the field though, all of a sudden we started giving the ball away needlessly and let Sunderland have a little spell that ultimately led to their goal. Thinking about it, for the first time possibly in the last 20 years, if we have everybody fit we can conceivably field a team where every single player is actually good at football. That's something to look forward to for me.

You love him because he does step overs and wears coloured boots mate. His passing and final ball aren't all that though. I'd rather have Kilbane there.

We may have had control of possession for the majority of the first 35 mins, but I don't remember a clear cut chance. They had less of the ball but should have been more than one up at half time. They created 3 or 4 chances that I would expect the majority of premier league teams to put away. We've taken the piss out of the sh*te for tika taka but there were times when we seemed to be passing it round on the edge of their box for the sake of it. We also seemed to want to walk it in for some reason. I was glad we mixed it up a bit more after the break. Sunderland do not concede many goals so to score 2 against them when the pressure was on (being behind, clock ticking down) shouldn't be taken for granted.

Credit to Moyes in some regards, he was spot on with the Vellios sub but you could also say that Fellaini was not getting much out of O'Shea and Cuellar for the whole game up until then, and has not been as effective in other games when he's been up against 2 powerful centre halves so why wait 'til 70 mins before changing it? Reading that, I'm nit picking really, but I wish he would take the iniative a bit earlier. You can't hide from the fact that we were infinitely improved once Neville went off. Felli scored and made one when nominally playing CM rather than behind the striker. I guess that debate will just keep on going.

Given these stats, Does MON "we where unlucky" comment, only go to highlight how deluded he is? "We could have been 3 nil up" FFS. If every shot on goal had gone in......mmm. does the maths. We win 26-10. Never rated him and was ashamed when posters where linking him to Everton in previous slow seasonal starts.

Stats don't tell the real story though. In the first half they had three chances that they should have scored. We made chances that we could have scored. Glad they didn't mind, and that's probably why they're where they are in the table.

Yeah fair comment and I've added total shots to shots on target to get goals scored. So perhaps MON isn't the only ****wit.

A great come from behind for three points. Getting tired of us coming from behind though and for the other team to score for us to get kick started. That said, a few observations:

1) Good to see Jelavic get back on the scoresheet

2) Fellaini is a beast.

3) Hope that Mirallas is back sooner rather than later.

4) Glad to see Vellios get on the pitch.

5) Want to see Big Vic get healthy.

6) Naismith not near as bad as many making him out to be.
