Onana should not be on a yellow. He's been outstanding today. But, we're playing them, so controversy and dubious refereeing highly likely.

The referee has to do something to stop our influence at the heart of the field. What better than to put him on the back foot for 45 minutes now. Probably be one more innocuous foul and he's off, whereas Fabinho continues to foul and not even a word, possibly a late yellow when it can't influence the game.

I'm really against Davies being near this team as i still don't think he is good enough. You have to be honest though to be credible and he is actually having an excellent game here. Far bigger concern for me in the next 45 is going down to 10 men.

Think Davies is playing it really simple and with the rest of the team opening up for him he is looking capable

I think we need to get Gordon on the left more, Terence Trent Derby doesn't fancy himself against Gordon at all, need to get him running at him down the left. I think we will have to make the substitute at about 60 minutes and bring Gueye on, I think the original plan was for Davies to make way, but, it will be Onana now, they'll be trying everything now to get him a second yellow.

A fair point. Expect Onana to be the sub on the yellow but Davies deserves credit on how he's shown this season. Today he's been instinctual in one twos in the box, unlucky on the woodwork. And always willing to throw in challenges for a possible counter (maybe too much at times). Considering the additions his role moving forward i'm sure is up for doubt. Of course he has limitations but in all he's done a decent job over the games he's been called on.
