Iwobi needs to be in the middle. Take off Gomes or Delph and move Iwobi central. Get Richy back out wide.

delph doesn’t have enough urgency and Gomes is a bit out of sorts but has shown some good vision.
We would be so much better with a box to box midfielder

Not nearly as poor as the pinging it sideways and backwards in our own half. I like that we are looking to go through the middle, but Iwobi needs shifting over there to make it work, he looks out of sorts wide.

Poor half of football from two poor sides in all honesty. Walcott being Walcott getting into good positions and making good runs but then handing Tottenham the ball. Richarlison throwing himself to the ground every time he gets touched. Haven’t a clue why he decided to try and shoot on his weaker foot instead of continuing his run when Gomes played him through.

....the team seems set up to not lose which is ok if we sneak the first goal, but it’ll be difficult to get back in it if Spurs score. Be interesting at which point Silva might try and be more expansive.

Does Delph actually know how to pass a ball forward, its either sideways or backwards.

He does.....it seems this is what is being instructed to do....could be wrong but he has already shown he wants to and can go forward

again could be wrong but I think it’s system being implemented

Davies has outshone Gomes. Always looking to play the ball forward. Gomes has tried but has passed mainly negatively.
