Holgate right back isn't great and no surprise to see 2 players in Iwobi and Gylfi given another game once again to try and impress for 500th time.

No Gomes either after he said he would be available. King must be Barlow gash to not get in ahead of Iwobi
I think it's 3 at the back with Iwobi and Digne wingbacks. Son must be chomping at the bit at the prospect. I hope it's 4 with Holgate doing a man marking job on him. It would be one of those games i hope he nails the dirty Korean [Poor language removed].

the Carlo fans who will back him up no matter what on Sigurdsson and Iwobi starting: - he has injuries, he has to play them, he has no choice, if we didn't have injuries they wouldn't be anywhere near the starting XI

the Carlo fans who have witnessed the last 50 league games and are realistic about our prospects on Sigurdsson and Iwobi starting whilst Joshua King sits on the bench yet again:-

It's either...

Pickford
Holgate Godfrey Keane Digne
Iwobi Allan Davies Richarlison
James
Sigurdsson

Or

Pickford
Iwobi Holgate Godfrey Keane Digne
Allan
Davies Sigurdsson
James
Richarlison

Either way a right side combination of Iwobi / Holgate doesn't fill me with confidence.

How about good old fashioned 4-3-3 with Iwobi on the left and James off the right like we started the season?

It isn't that but I can dream.

I can see is playing for a draw and then they score within 10 mins.
Definitely over 3.5 goals in this game.
To be honest with our current starting 11, bench and home form I think evens for them to win is giving money away.

Only 1 of our last 10 has gone over 3.5. In fact only 2 of those 10 have had 3 goals.

I think the issue with a 433 is that our striker might end up being isolated with no one near them to support, they'll just spend the game making pointless runs into the channel. So the other formations would allow better support and runners off the striker.

The above is a joke our striker would be isolated even if we had 30 players on the pitch.
