That's the thing. What's the point in qualifying for Europe so we can lose at weekends and during the week?

Because we lose in the week anyway so it gives us fans a nice few away days and it’s also a trophy. Some people can remember what they are.

yes, if our club truly wants to live up to its exacting NSNO motto, why on earth would it want to get into Europe whereupon it's possible we might lose two away games in a week instead of just the one. I believe our traditionally early exit from the domestic cups is also down to our consciously avoiding that eventuality.

Of course we all want Everton to beat Watford tonight. If we were playing against my local pub team in my back garden I would want Everton to win.
Although I suspect that our local scouts under 13 team would give this current joke of a manager a run for his money. They would over run Silvas preferred midfield. Sniederlin and Siggy. FFS. Delph also.

Then keep the winning team and carry some momentum into the weekend. And beat Spurs. Onwards and upwards.
Win our next two matches and things might....just might start to look better.
Can Silva and this bunch of players be trusted? TBH I fear not.
Here's hoping for a decent run of results now from our team.
But tbh I'm not expecting much. Papering over cracks won't do. We really do need to be seen to be turning the corner. We really do need a A. Heath moment.
