Yes, he's played wide left before. For Juve. Not wide right. You realize Ronaldo plays wide right inside striker for them, yeah? Christ.

He played wide one time for Juve's first team. Other than that he's been a center forward since he moved up from the u16s. Saying he's played wide so he can do it is like saying Dom's played RB before so he can do it. Technically you're right but it is horrid management to actually do it.

Top Footballers adapt and can play multiple positions within multiple systems. My point is, it’s not a huge a adaptation for a player of his pace, strength and ability to play from out wide for the good of the team (as the manager deems fit, as he has in this case).

Wide left, wide right it doesn’t make a difference. It isn’t an excuse to be as anonymous as he has been and he must do better in my book.
