Yes he does.

I can understand he's sh!t scared to do anything wrong after his own fans have turned (17 mins exactly today). However, he never seems to bust a gut to get anywhere, forward, backwards, pressing, tackling, nothing. That's not an age/experience thing, it's a lazy thing.

Shouting at someone with no confidence doesn't do anyone any good. He needs to bench him and let him build his confidence on the training ground.

But I actually thought it was one of his better games for a while. He needs to take more risks with his passing and take more shots on.

It's simply too easy to play against us at the moment. If WBA had a better counter attack, they could gave taken something from it. If we were better at a short passing game, we still would gave drawn.

They were always going to set up that way, and yet again we haven't played accordingly.

What could we have done?! Like Martinez has just said, we have no one creative available in midfield. Someone like Osman or Pienaar to try and unlock defences and teams who just sit deep in their half with no space over the top.

The crowds reaction to Besic coming off was absurd. He is a brilliant holding midfielder, but offensively he's absolutely guff. Barry isn't great by any stretch, but at least he passes the ball forwards.

This window has suddenly become a big one for Martinez, granted.

He isn't lazy, at all. Barkley isn't lazy, at all.

Martinezs post match interviews are becoming as tiresome as the football. Forget his football philosophy, we have some very talented footballers that HE is failing to get the most out of. Got till the end of the month to save his job. Forget Europa league, league points is the priority.
