After watching today's game there were parts of it where I felt we were.lacking something, what I'm not sure, yes we won and convincing, but only to the point we went 3-2 up.
Anyone any idea where we could improve on and how?

Defence has to be better, that first goal, stop the run, stop the run, stop the run, STOP THE FUDGING RUN!!!! I think they'll improve over the season, sure there will be mistakes but knowing they actually have a midfield in front of them, will do them a world of good.

But since you asked....

Put James in the AMC role, clone Richalison and put him on the right wing. A 26 year old Coleman and different CB and that starting 11 would match Liverpool. (Leaves a bad taste in the mouth but they are by far the favourites for the title)

First game on the MOTD and all of them talking about us positively. Didn't think i would see the day.

Loving this season so far and it is all down to Carlo Magnifico as without him we don't have the boss new players and winning mentality.

Yeah I think that's a fair response, also we played really well against spurs but we were lucky they didn't take there chance's. I felt we looked more comfortable in midfield list week, however looked more attacking this week.

Gomes went missing at times today, also still not sold on mina

I'm loving how they let the other team play, but close covering, keeping the shape, waiting right time to move in, they get through, close em, get through that, still covered, and again
but for the risk of getting them that far developed, the opp are more and more out of shape when we get the ball
and finally, with players that know what to do, who are capable of driving the team
it has a much more exciting feel to it

that assuredness that's running through em, to back themselves

Yes, I saw both games and I agree with you. In regards to Gomes though, sure he didn't have a stand out performance (tough considering those who did) but as the season goes on, I can see him shining.

I know you wasn't insinuating it but after reading more on the forum. Considering my post, I wanted to say that every player to a man, were good, some very good. Its just from those two games, the defence isn't quite right. If they can tighten that up, this starting 11 is looking quite formidable.
