Now I dont get to many games, but I'm coming to this one. Look at the other games I saw in the last year or so and try and guess the score for this one

Everton - Swansea 0-0
Southampton - Everton 0-0
Everton - West Brom 0-0

FFS Everton
I checked the odds today. $1.42 Everton, $7.00 West Ham. Didn't see a price for 0-0 but it would be at least 15-1. At least!

I liked your preview, chico, but I don't get the pessimism. Our home record is sensational and West Ham, in spite of their four wins in a row are strugglers, home and away, always.

They're due to lose, too.

The old saying states bad things come in 3's. Well we've had Traore's new injury, Jags hamstring and Alan Myers departure. Must be good times now so a Blues 2-0 win for me

This is the game we need to be kicking-starting our season again with. Win this then go on another run and we're back in the European fold.

Big game today, time to get everything ticking in the right direction again. Say want you want about Moyes, and I have, but this is a game we would have won to go on a late season run. We need to be there in case the RS collapse. Lets at least not give fourth to them.

Good reflective piece mate always a good read.

So unsure about the game. Every match carries great importance at the business end of the season, hard to get up for this one but we must.

Everton owe us a win.

2-0.

Nothing but a win today blues. Need to kick start a run of victories to get the season back on track.

Can't wait to see Dunc walk out for the bench, the roar should be boss. Duncan, Duncan Ferguson being sung like the old days.

our mediocre attack lately is up against one of the best defences in the PL -
tough one this - has draw written all over it - not what we need now -
we need to start hitting the target more regularly with a much higher conversion rate if we want to finish higher than last season.

This is how i'd play today:

..............Howard
Coleman..Stones...Distin.....Baines
......McCarthy......Barry.....
Deulofeu....Barkley......McGeady
.............Lukaku........

Subs:
Joel, Hibbert, Alcaraz, Naismith, Pienaar, Osman, Mirallas

Hopefully Ross will get his confidence up and Rom gets a goal or two ahead of Arsenal.
Obvious that Kev + Pienaar will start next week so rest them and give Del + McGeady game time. Thoughts blues?

Back at Goodison Park with a near enough full strength side (just the 5 injuries this time around...):

Howard
Coleman Alcaraz Distin Baines
McCarthy Barry
Mirallas Barkley Pienaar
Lukaku

Robles, Hibbert, Stones, Osman, McGeady, Deulofeu, Naismith

Anything less than a win against a team we're comfortably superior to and it's very disappointing.
