They were two clear yellow cards.

Blatant simulation and a late lunge. If it was a West Ham player you'd have no second thought about it.

The ref has been equally incompetent to both sides with big decisions - both sides could have had penalties - but generally he's done nothing notably more incompetent towards Everton.

Even the Lennon foul you're talking about is correct - it was high feet; a stonewall free-kick.

not sure you can say "blatant" simulation I suppose the very fact the commmentator nor me could decide if he got clipped or not dispells blatant but stupid 2nd flying in like that for the 2nd ! ridiculous !

Absolutely no consistency from the ref. Totally lost the game.

That being said, Kev was stupid to dive in. That's why he doesn't start as many games, btw...

Overall, think we played well. Really well in first 15 but then sat deep after we scored when we should have just gone at them and pressed higher.

COYB!

It was blatant simulation. You can wear the blue-tinted specs if you want about it, but it was what it was. He should never have done it, little to gain even if he had got away with it. Just stupid play from a stupid, selfish player.

Sounds like the Goodison crowd are much louder today, nothing like a bit of backs to the wall defending coupled with a terrible ref to get the fans on board again.
