...I don’t think the line up matters much any more. I was listening to the 5Live crew talking about our game at Southampton, they couldn’t believe how much space and time their ‘ordinary’ CMs had against Gueye and Schneiderlin.

I would just get into the players minds to win their own personal battles. Get the better of the player you’re up against. It’s back to basics but win your own war against your opposite number.

If everybody goes out with that mentality we’ll pick up points.

It couldn't possibly include Williams or Martina, could it? Jags either but he's the just about least culpable of the three special Olympians we have at the back. It's been said already this week but if either of those two, or indeed Mirallas/Schneiderlin play and we perform as we have done, there could be a public on-field nyarko moment tonight. We have already had a similar incident in a European home game this season that has been discussed to death... let's hope a sensible team selection avoids this.

its guna have to be, Holgate is back but not fit, keane and baines are "massive doubts" and probably wont play
