90% of the forum wanted Walcott shunted out for nowt in jan and said hes one of our worst signings , but are now voting for him to be man of the match ..

fickle

as

hell

lol lol lol
They may still want him out but while he's at the club and plays then he deserves MOTM shouts if he's the best player, his problem is that he doesn't play to motm standard enough normally he's pants. I wouldn't call it fickle to want him out but vote him motm if he does well.

Errrr no. People are voting for him as MOTM because he played well today, after months and months of being garbage.

hes been getting over a life threatening concussion.. and lids have wanted him gone. the amount of moaning on here when he was announced in the team...

beggars belief !

I thought Davies was excellent today, you can see the difference in having a midfielder who can play with one touch. The game was so much quicker. No sideways or passing back, or having a midfielder playing next to back for. First game in a while we’ve actually had a few who could get MOM.

I thought Davies was superb. His first time one-touch passing set us giong forward right into their back four time and time again today. This kind of performance makes Winks, for example, totally pedestrian. In fact a lot of the national team's midfield. WHat he MUST do is put in this kind of performance week-in and week-out...

Yes that is what he needs in his locker. Games like today on a regular basis. Problem with him has been average games followed by poor games. His passing in the past has been atrocious and all too often games passed him by. Now is the time to cement his position with consistency or he will be left to rot.

This is a rare season with how poor the top have been so far. Its so sad to think that in our 4 game losing streak, just 1 win and 1 draw in those would put us 1 point behind a CL spot.

Great performance all round today.
It was good to see Tom finally get his chance and he did more than enough to keep his place next week. He's been playing well all season for England U21s and, quite predictably, carried that good form into today's game.
More of the same please from now on lads.
And we didn't miss Schneids one bit, which again could have easily been predicted.
