I think the competition for places will bring the best out of Gylfi. How can you not perform at your best with this newly infused group of committed players. He will be a valuable occasional starter when needed and who knows, maybe capture some of that form from a few years ago.

All that was missing was a crowd to witness a very good performance and another hat-trick for Dom, who needs to practice his shooting from outside the box now he's perfected the close range stuff.

Richie MoM for me though, played his socks off again and could have had a hat-trick of his own.

Great result, good number of goals scored, glad to be through to the quarter finals again.
Hope the injuries to Richarlison, Allan and Kenny are not bad, they could really affect our season.

Lovely stuff, james is a world class player, Dom is a top slotter, mr Delph was good, seamus is the Irish Cafu , all of em class

DCL was a crap striker. Carlo has turned him into a class striker. This is the power and influence of the best manager.....

Don’t get me wrong he’s been fantastic for us but for some reason I’d feel more comfortable Delph replacing him with Doucoure alongside him then Iwobi replacing Richarlison
