I said second string for me and given the injuries to two first teamers I'd say my caution was justified.

I'm very happy what's in my head and didn't mention anything about second place - I think our second string could have won the game tonight.

This! Hopefully got enough to beat Brighton. Pull Richarlison and Allan out of any Brazil squad, invent an injury for James - pull him out of the Colombia squad! Then give them all a good rest, get them ready and fit for the kopites!
Another good win that - all about momentum!

I totally understand everyones worry about James playing for Colombia during the international break and getting injured. But James hasn't play for Colombia for over a year and we want our magician back too. Let's hope the goddesses continue keeping him healthy throughout the season with Everton and Colombia's qualifiers.

Good performance. Injuries are always going to be part of the game so here's hoping there not too serious. No disrespect to Kenny but apart from looking the least serious of the 3, we obviously need Richie and Allan more.
Good to see Pickford focused for their one real chance and the defence was solid. Thought Siggy and Delph were pretty tidy and what can we say about Dom? James pure class.
Very impressed with Nkounkou. Didn't get forward as much but that's to be expected against another top flight side in only his 3rd start. Didn't give Yarmalenko much space and wasn't afraid to get stuck in. Looks to have a very bright future.

Can only beat what’s put in front of you. West Ham we’re awful though. Defensively they were all over the shop. Wish we could have controlled the game a bit more and stop letting them have so much of the ball. Felt like we enticed ourselves into a dog fight with them at times.

I’m just glad we are through. I’m praying Richarlison’s injury isn’t as bad as first though.

Gylfi, Delph, definitely DCL, all lifted a level with the quality around them.

Still not sure about iwobi, half the time looks like the kid who won a competition to play with the first team, other times shows what he could be.

Delph´s best game for us tonight. Good on him.

Worried about Allan - think he will be out for a few weeks minimum - groins are really awkward and he should have come off after the twinge and not waited for the pull.

Stll can not believe physio staff do not have access to replays. John Joe should never have tried to play on. It was clear he had done his ankle ligaments.

Hope all 3 will be back soon.

DCL will score five in a game in the next year or two. Turning into a beast.
