Everton v Wigan - 17 Feb- 7.00PM

I was to be there tomorrow, unfortunately developed a serious heart condition over the last few, related to a virus, was lucky to survive, and will be lucky to get to another match at Goodison. Parents going so hopefully will have loads of pictures to forward on (can't promise quality pics from a pair of 60-odd year olds though!)

Please, other attendees, fill this thread with pics and vids 🙏 💙

Take care and hope your recovery is as swift as can be mate.

I'm actually a bit surprised that they aren't streaming this, unless they're waiting for the second test event for that. They'll have to test out the TV/tech setup as well surely?

There will be limited opportunities for photos. In the "What NOT to expect" info about the first test event, they said this...

  • Access to areas/concourses outside the South Stand – this will include Everton Way and player arrival area
  • To be able to walk freely around the stadium, either externally or internally, beyond the South Stand concourses
  • Opportunities to go pitchside or meet/interact with players or officials
  • Ale. (My wording)

I imagine one event might get streaming to test that like you say. Ultimately through tonight is primarily a safety / logistical test so while I’d be glued to a stream I understand why there isn’t one.

Gonna be a very nervy night for a lot of people seeing the ground used for the first time and really live streaming it to the world would just add work and pressure without adding to the purpose of the exercise.

Whilst I expected this, will there at least be limited concession stands on?
