The number 1 concern this year is no one seems to want to take responsibility to put the ball in the net. No one wants to put their hand up to be the difference maker.

Lack of leadership. Lack of composure. Lack of conviction. Lack of quality.

And the manager just kind of shrugs his shoulders after we lose. Why is everyone so accepting of defeat? Where is the desperation to improve and get the club moving forward?

I am fed up.
Creating a sense of belief, bringing about the necessary composure and conviction, identifying leaders....this is the job of the manager. Not to whine about lack of money or targets being acquired, but to get the best out of what is there. Dyche has been appalling this week and the result just topped it off.

Still don't know how close the offside was on the goal as I was at the game but surely they should show you the pictures on the big screens so you at least have an understanding as how they have got to the decision.
They never showed it on the Sky highlights either so I’d love to see that move again.
…I thought Patterson delivered at least one very good cross in the first half.
That should have produced a goal but Danjuma never even got his head to the centre.
Pickford, despite a pretty good save, seemed a bit nervy today. Didnt seem his usual self. Not sure why. But I thibk Tarks needs to be challenging for that header. Free-header otherwise. And from that close its harder to miss than score
Pickford was moaning at his defenders from the first minute and at times when the ball was at the other end of the pitch he outside the penalty area pointing his arms and shouting at players upfront, none of them were taking a blind bit of notice of him, then when it comes to defending his six yard area he is behind his own line and stuck there, when Wolves score their goal, instead of being out there punching the ball away, he’s great at shot stopping, sometimes, but he never properly defends his six yard area and that is one of the main parts of being a good top ‘keeper, that’s why he’ll never ever be one, no matter how much Everton fans hype him up.

Frustrated and disappointed to lose again, but the positives signs are there, and with a few tweaks we may just Brighton a team again.

With this Everton, when they don’t score when on top you know what’s coming.

Dyche has made poor team selections this season, but that was much better yesterday, sadly the senior pros let us down whilst the young lads made a mockery of there previous omission by the manager.

Positives

Branthwaite is light years ahead of micheal Keane and has been since we started the season - should have already been in the side, looked composed and confident - we have another John Stones on our hands, I hope we manage to keep him and he has his best years with us.

Chermiti looked more than decent and for me should be in the starting 11 if we don’t get Beto in - very promising, and would allow danjuma to play wide or in the number 10.

Dobbin was brilliant, destroyed the Portuguese rb who should have been second yellowed imo (as a few more wolves players should have been) - direct running at pace, and an outlet - should start until injuries are sorted and get minutes for the rest of the season.

Patterson was fine again, though I’m sure the boo boys will be at him for the goal (which wasn’t his fault at all) - some great crosses into the box and defended quite well.

Danjuma - likeable, hard working and unlucky a couple of times.

Negatives

Senior pros all over the park - gana/tarks/young/Pickford - not even close to good enough. All of them at fault for the goal. Gana should be dropped and garner played more central - we need much more creativity from the midfield.

Onana and doucure often missing, need much more, the chance Doucs missed was awful. Is onana playing within himself so he doesn’t get injured before the window shuts.

Set pieces which I thought would be a strong point under dyche are abysmal - garner should have told young to leave them after the 3rd one hit the keeper. Every other team has much better delivery, which is criminal with the size of our team - work needed urgenty!

Not overly panicking yet, but gutted to lose three on the trot - that’s mostly on the two lunatics running the club and the chronic lack of a joined up plan on anything.

Looking at it again it was quite a young line up because of injuries we started with 5 players 22 and under and brought on two more under 21s in Chermiti and Cannon, so maybe we should make a few allowances should still have scored at least once this season though.

“im guna score”

how the f do you take responsibility about scoring? it’s not a penalty lad

we are creating chances - not scoring

then the other team scores and we’re fd

we need to break the habit

Are you familiar with the phrases 'talisman', 'big game player', 'clutch'?

Players like Richarlison, Cahill, Ferguson, to name just a few.

They're the players who take responsibility for scoring. Who turn up when you're up against it. Force the ball into the net, often through sheer will if not technique.

We don't have a single player like that in this squad. Nobody wants to be the guy to do it. They're all hoping someone else steps up. We've a massive lack of character in this squad, and it's a big issue.

we don’t have a character mate i agree but the team who is out should be scoring

I went Branthwaite for MoM, with Doucoure as a close second. Another frustrating game.

Pawson has his usual incompetent game as referee. Books players for nothing but then fails to produce a second yellow for a real foul. Booked Branthwaite for being barged into by Sa, rather than booking Sa for barging into Branthwaite.

Sa went down screaming like a banshee...and it's pawson who is incompetence personified

Lack of players due to injury isn't helping. Based on performances we ought to have at least six points by now, even with the depleted squad. If we hadn't been making chances then I'd be worried. I think it's too early to panic and a win next week will make things look a lot different. I think, once the goal drought ends, things will start looking up.

Look what you’ve done to me now

Gone native

Youngs crosses my have been too close to the keeper, but his general play is way better than Myko, way smarter passes, way more confidence, which breeds confidence throughout the team
I would argue he was our worst player and I've never seen Myko be that bad.

We'll have a reasonable squad when most of the injured players are fit again and I'm not worried about relegation.

I wasn't expecting Everton to be challenging near the top and would settle for being mid table this season and not struggling
near or a at the bottom.

In the meantime, I'm not enjoying watching Everton and it's been like that for too long.

That's a very optimistic view. The opponents lined up for our opening 4 games to start the season are a gift. And after 3 games we are dead last in the league and have yet to score a goal despite 2 games played at home.

And I certainly hope one of the injured players you are counting on returning with an impact isn't DCL. Nothing for 2 years. He is washed.

Leadership is what is missing most for this Club. In ownership, for sure. In management, even more. In coaches (not anti-Sean Dyche yet). But most of all - in players.
