We’ve been crap since Martinez 2nd season. There’s a lot of players that just aren’t good enough for where a lot of our fans expect us to be. Over the years we’ve lost key players who haven’t been replaced properly. What was needed was to build on players like stones, lukaku and Barkley. Instead they were sold and the players we brought in weren’t adequate to replace them. We’ve essentially had to start from scratch and it takes more than one season to build a team that is able to challenge the top teams in the league. I’m not sure Silva is the man to take us to that next level but I’m willing to at least give him another transfer window because I know with the squad we have at the moment we are not good enough to challenge the better teams whoever the manager is.
