I don't know how to take his appointment. He's got a lot of experience at the top end of the game, with decent win rates at each and every club.
He's managed good players too, but his honour list isn't stellar when you consider who he's managed; in fact, you may even say he's underperformed.
The PL will be a different kettle of fish, and even more so with a team sitting rock bottom. Can he match the intensity and physicality of the league? I hope not.
