Apart from them going for it early on it was a walk in the park. Don't think RK wanted a big scoreline, just get a comfortable win and move on to the next round. Made the subs at the right times which got playing time for cleverely, Gibson and Kone. Don't think we ever really needed to exert ourselves for the win and hopefully we'll be fresh for Saturday.

All in all a god night and I'm made up they've updated the toilets!!!!

I was pleased with the relative lack of backward movement compared to recent times.

Kept the ball much better and harried Yeovil constantly when they had the ball.

Gana was class again, Lukaku missed two absolute sitters, our corners are improving, our defence was comfortable, Kone was clinical.

Bolasie's dribbling, passing and vision is great. His long distance shooting is not.

Barkley or Gana was man of the match for me.

McCarthy deserves praise for his assist.

Yeovil fans were amazing. Our fans were quite subdued. There was a lot of kids and the place had a 'friendly game' atmosphere to it.

We still don't look that incisive in the final third for me.

Anyone notice the lad they had playing upfront for them? He was bizarrely tall and quick with long hair and was working really hard. That combination just looked really odd for some reason.

He looked like a cross between Torres and Conan the Barbarian. Very odd.

As for the game anyone notice how little we knocked it back to the keeper now under Koeman? Even though we had plenty of possession in our own back line we always looked to move it forward.
Another thing I noticed was just how much of a talker Williams is, was barking instructions all night to all the players - was good to see/hear!

Didn't see the match so don't know how he looked overall, but good to see McCarthy making the run in behind the defence from the midfield for the first goal.

If he is going to stick around in this squad, and I don't necessarily think that's a bad thing, it'll be good to see him working on posing a threat.
