I'm still riding on clouds, what a result, just have a look at the table this morning, superb.

Not only are we one point behind bolton, our goal difference is massively superior to theirs and the rest of the teams around us.

We have to press home our advantage and get ourselves into Europe.

when was the last time we had a goal difference like this at this stage of the season?

back of the net!

i'm really chuffed moyes was so positive last night. looks like the spurs defeat could have had some telling long term lessons. if it has improved moyes as a manager then we all win!

One little word of caution after the win yesterday, look at what we had on the bench, imo it was an Achilles heel. Our bench consisted of two forwards and two defenders plus Wrongy. With Timmy out for the rest of the season, Ossie not performing as he can do, what cover do we have for midfield, bare threads I think. Just hope and pray that no more injuries pop up between now and the end of the season:dodgy:

We are low on numbers in midfield but hopefully the likes of VDM and McFadden will be fit again soon, as will Hibbert which will free Neville up for midfield and there is always Da Silva and Vidarrson if we're really desperate.

Yesterdays team selection said a lot for Da Silva's long term prospects. He missed the reserve match in the week although he wasn't injured, as far as I was concerned he was being held back for bench duties yesterday but no sign of him, has he dissappeared into the same black hole that keeps taking VDM? As far as VDM is concerned, how many times, on those rare occasions he's been available, has he lasted more than an hour, he is a joke.

The bench yesterday just showed how thin our squad is, experienced warriors are few and far between. I'll be happier when the like of Valente and Hibbert are avialble and playing just in case......................:dodgy:

to be fair monts, we have hibbo on the way which means neville can play in midfield which will create a little bit of competition anyway.

Maybe neville on the right, arteta on the left with fernandes and cars in the middle, then we would have ossie to come on if needed.

What a game, What an atmosphere.

I Ended up 2 rows in front of me

COYB!!

FOOKING FANTASTIC

Watched the highlights last night. What a cracking goal and if Carsley's shot had gone that would have been goal of the season!! Good all round display from what I saw.

For those who say we need a creative midfielder, look no further the Fernandes, we have to sign him. Our targets should just be Him first and then perhaps Nugent and A N Other. But Moyes and BK please please find the money to sign Fernandes.

Watching him play reminded me of Duncan Mackenzie.

i honestly thought there were only 9 corners, but if you counted 10, then maybe it was ten.

:)

"im in the money, im in the money
i got a lot of what it takes to get around"

Rob, Neville in midfield? Why? He showed yesterday with his wretched distribution and poor marking he isn't cut out for it. Can't defend, can't pass, can't shoot. Cannot play in midfield!!!

Exactly monty, not long after seeing relatives for mothers day, before helpin myself to a few and settling down to MOTD, it was brilliant. The goal at the end, the celebrations were just so wild, I loved it. You all should have been there, I feel priveleged. Agree completely as usual, Monty. Carsley and Stubbs were lions defending our goal, Fernandes - thats what fans want to see, skill, adventure, creativity, need I say more? Johnson, Vaughan, Lescott ran themselves into the ground. Special mention for Ossie too, dont understand the criticism, unlocked their defence superbly second half.
A brilliant, breathtaking, fully-deserved last-minute win.
GET IN!

we were spot on is this game.

too many times we have needed a big result after a game like this byt [Poor language removed] it up. if we dont keep hold of fernandes then we will only end up mid table next year. him and arteta make us keep it on the ground compared to some of the long ball [Poor language removed] we have had.
