We are in deep deep do-do.

Bournemouth winning and West Ham, Leicester and Leeds all at home this weekend .

Not only must we win but badly need goals. Our GD is going to cripple us even further - we are 8-10 goals worse off than those three at the moment.

All on the DofF this situation. I don't get the point of his position when he can oversee a team with not one decent striker to field. It'd not happen the NW counties league let alone the premiership. Hundreds of millions splashed on centre backs, left backs and wingers yet not one tall, powerful meaningful striker that any other team in the world deems a must have.

This is solely why we're in this position today. Unbelievable.

I've seen a lot of positive posts in here the last couple days. Kudos to those who can still muster up the hope. I personally can't see it anymore. If Dyche had more time, maybe.

Brentford are on a great run and have an out and out goal scorer. We have an extremely weak defense and Gray up top. I don't see this going well for us.

Why not take a chance and drop Doucoure, play Iwobi deeper and start Simms?
The manager will be under some scrutiny if we lose today, that's for sure. It's one thing saying "three points from three matches against Liverpool and Arsenal is a decent return" - but it's not so decent when Bournemouth took that from two games against those sides and we have only taken four points from four other matches against Leeds, Aston Villa, Forest, and Brentford. That's if we lose today.

I mean, Dyche is on a hiding to nothing. But he really needs a win today.

Absolutely massive game. Shouldn't be but it definitely is. Got to be 3 points. Any less just puts us even deeper in the quagmire.

Step up blues.
